there's reason to celebrate.
marie's a writer!
i sent in a few of my writing pieces to the scholastic writing awards, and one of them got a gold key and is advancing to the national level in NY.
wee!
however, i don't expect to get anything, because the piece of writing that advanced was a collection of short poems, and poetry isn't exactly my strongest area.
